SLU’s accounting master’s program, ranked No. 28 for 2019 by U.S. News & World Report, provides in-depth expertise in general accounting, taxation and auditing. The Chaifetz School, with its continuing mission to provide excellence in business education, has developed the graduate accounting program to offer superior ethical, technical and professional accounting skills.

While all students complete a core of required courses that will prepare them for a career in accounting and the CPA examination, SLU’s graduate accounting programs also offer distinct areas of emphasis that allow you to focus on a specific discipline of accounting. Students achieve an area of emphasis by completing at least three elective courses in one of the three areas offered: audit, taxation or financial reporting.
