Offered through the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, SLU’s sports business program is interdisciplinary and includes courses from the areas of management, marketing, economics, IT management and communication.
SLU’s sports business advisory board includes representatives from major and minor league franchises, major sponsorship organizations, sporting goods manufacturers and sports agencies.
In addition to fulfilling the requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree, students must complete 18 credit hours of upper-level division coursework in sports business. The program involves nine credit hours of required coursework and nine hours of electives.
