If you have future aspirations for a career in law, as a graduate of the Paralegal Studies program, you have a distinct advantage with knowledge on legal research, legal writing, procedures and contracts - all requirements for law school.
Paralegal students with an interest in criminal law are encouraged to take the substantive and procedural criminal law courses (CSJS 43000 and CSJS 44500) as part of their law-related electives. Paralegal students with an interest in business law are encouraged to take BSAD 25000 Business Law.
