This is a stand-alone major. Courses in the 2 minors may not be duplicates. Courses used to fulfill the Liberal Arts major may not be used to apply to other minors (except in the case of general education courses, which may be shared with a third minor or a certificate program). A student may, if his or her schedule permits, earn a third minor taking other courses. Any two minors in the College of Arts and Sciences may be chosen. Ideally, the combination of the 2 minors gives the student the opportunity to focus on knowledge pertinent to the student's career or personal enrichment.

A Liberal Arts major selects any 2 minors from those offered in the College of Arts and Sciences. The consent of each department chairperson is required. The student must take all of the courses designated for the 2 minors. The student must also complete 2 upper-division courses in each minor at Lewis University.
