A biochemistry degree is the perfect preparation for careers in medicine and pharmaceuticals, making invaluable contributions and helping to fight illness and create inventions that improve the quality of life, including:

• Food Science?- research ways to develop and preserve abundant and inexpensive sources of nutritious food
• Agriculture?- study the interaction of herbicides and plant life
• Medical Pharmacology?- help develop new drugs and study drug interactions

Many of our students choose to pursue graduate studies in biochemistry, molecular biology, forensic science and related science fields, or a degree in education.
