The M.S. in mental health counseling program is designed for those seeking counselor licensure. It prepares students to provide direct clinical and counseling services to patients in a variety of settings, from state and local government agencies to residential and outpatient centers to private practice.
The small class size (no more than 18-20 in a section) provides students and professors the opportunity to collaborate and get to know one another. We accept students from diverse educational backgrounds and professional experience. Each student brings their knowledge and perspective, which enriches everyone in the classroom. Most students form lifelong connections.
