Areas of focus include financial mathematics, mathematical biology, mathematical physics, mathematical statistics, or computational ma thematics.
  • Mathematicians often work with other professionals such as engineers, computer scientists, biological and physical scientists, researchers, and others, to provide data as well as analysis of data.
  • There are three majors available: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in financial mathematics.
