Instructors at the clinical sites are practicing medical laboratory professionals. College faculty visit students at their internship sites on a weekly basis to coordinate educational activities with clinical instructors. Faculty are always readily available to students for review and further instruction, advising on academic, professional and career issues, and for general guidance. Science laboratories on campus are open to students beyond the normal class day for review of laboratory materials and general study. Faculty in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences want all students to succeed, and they provide a supportive learning environment in which to do so.
