Students take stimulating courses in studio and field production, editing, screenwriting, audio production, lighting, cinematography, as well as film and TV history and criticism.
The B.A. in Media Studies and Production prepares students for fulfilling careers in a wide-range of media industries. This exciting degree integrates hands-on production experience and the study of visual culture with internship opportunities in television, film, interactive media, and game design.
The School of Communication and the Arts production facilities are located in the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Lowell Thomas Communication Center, and include two fully equipped television studios, Avid editing suites, Mac and PC interactive media-development labs, production and writing labs, and a 70 seat screening theater.
