The Nursing (Accelerated Coursework Track) program is offered by?Jefferson (Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University).?This program allows students to complete a BSN in two academic years of full-time study. Students must have a baccalaureate degree and 26 specific college credits to start the program.

Students earn 55 BSN credits and 9 MSN credits in two years. Course content (approximately two days per week) and immersion experiences (16 hours per week) are scheduled to allow time to integrate theoretical concepts and constructs into clinical practice. Immersion experiences may include daytime, evenings and/or weekends.

Jefferson Nursing students learn clinical skills in a risk-free, simulated-patient environment that is one of the nation?s leading centers of its kind. Combined with their clinical practice at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, our BSN students graduate with far more hours of clinical experience than is professionally required.

Jefferson BSN graduates have consistently scored among the highest pass rates on the national licensure examination of all Pennsylvania professional nursing programs.
