Like all Claflin University students, students majoring in Art Education will start with general education requirements, which includes history, communications, science, the humanities and philosophy. Art Education coursework begins during the first year of study.STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCE

As a Claflin Art student, you'll have access to many experiential learning options, such as research projects, mentorship connections, regional museum travel, and international study abroad opportunities.You can join a variety of on-campus clubs and organizations, including the Department's own Art Club. We encourage students to display their work at annual art exhibitions, both on- and off-campus, and to participate in industry conferences, so there's always an opportunity to learn, grow and share your creativity at Claflin.
