This program is perfect for those passionate about identifying clinically relevant questions, investigating possible solutions, and answering them – whether it’s through discovering a new method of diagnosing a disease, enhancing knowledge on the underlying mechanisms of the disease process, developing a new treatment plan or even uncovering a cure.

Many graduates from this program move on to careers as scientists and physicians. Others work in the healthcare industry developing new tools and medications to diagnose, treat and/or cure diseases. Some students continue their education and complete their Ph.D. to become assistant professors in medical schools.
