Prepare students to computer-intensive Industrial and Systems Engineering career, primarily for industries and companies that provide e-business solutions.
The Information Technology B.S. option enhances the technology skills of Industrial and Systems Engineering graduates and requires 131 hours, many of which are drawn from electives in the School of Computer Science. In addition to core Industrial and Systems Engineering coursework, students take 18 credit hours of courses ranging from database management to operating systems, and upper level electives in computer science. A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required to take Computer Science courses.
