The Legal Studies major at Lasell has a professional focus, rooted in Connected Learning, that seeks to educate students by promoting self-expression, academic exploration and critical thinking in academic, civic, and career-relevant areas.
- The Legal Studies degree program offers an introduction to the study of law for students interested in entering law school, as many Legal Studies graduates pursue graduate or law school degrees. There is also a Pre-Law advising program housed in the Justice Studies department that provides advising assistance for students considering law school.
- Lasell University is a certified location for administering the LSAT, the Law School Admission Test, and the MPRE, the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam. The latter is required by all new practicing students of the law.
- Lasell's Justice Studies program has majors in Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, and Law & Public Affairs.
