This Master of Science degree program is designed to develop and advance the skills of physical education teachers (K-12). The Physical Education Teacher major offers two tracks. The Professional Track - (Option 1) - provides a strong background in advanced teaching skills for students who have their initial certification in teaching physical education. Graduates of this Track will be well prepared to advance their instructional and supervisory skills in their positions as teachers, coaches and other education related tasks. The program offers experienced physical education teachers the opportunity to develop their practice and to expand their knowledge of physical education and the field of education.
