The program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. The course of study includes 24 credits of university and general education hours and 36 credit hours of nursing courses. The program requires 4 semesters of nursing courses following admission into the program. Upon the successful completion of the AASN program required courses and the comprehensive exam requirement the student is eligible for graduation and can take the NCLEX-RN Licensure Examination.
