The Art Education program provides preparation for teaching at all grade levels for public, private, and charter schools K-12. The degree also offers other options to teach art in avenues such as private lessons, to organizations, or at places like museums or senior citizens centers. Majors also can work in art or art-related fields, as well as study at the graduate level. Possible job opportunities include

The B.S. program in Art Education is designed for those who wish to teach. All students pursuing a major in Art Education are required to complete the General Education requirements as specified by the department and as required for certification.
