A master’s degree in mathematics education gives you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills for teaching mathematics. Our flexible program includes options for elementary/middle school teachers (Concentration 1), secondary mathematics teachers (Concentration 2), and elementary and middle school mathematics specialists (Concentration 3), with each concentration split between mathematics education and mathematics content. After completing your program, you’ll be ready to serve as a program leader for mathematics in your school or continue your studies with doctoral work. Courses leading to Concentrations 1 and 3 Master of Arts in Mathematics Education are offered online. Courses leading to the Concentration 2 Master of Arts in Mathematics Education are also offered online or on campus.
