The English Education Center (EEC) is a media resource center and technology laboratory for teacher preparation and professional development available for all english education majors. Undergraduate candidates in secondary English use the center for research, methods class assignments, and lesson preparation for field experience teaching. Student teachers meet at the EEC for on-campus seminars during their clinical semester and take advantage of the many resources for teaching preparation and portfolio development. The center also hosts professional development workshops and collaborative activities for area English teachers.
