The program serves a variety of students including traditional students seeking a four year undergraduate degree, students who plan to take the Nursing Home Administrator examination to practice in Minnesota, and students seeking coursework to gain expertise in the broad field of health services administration. To receive the B.S. in Health Services Administration, the student must meet the minimum university requirements and specific requirements for the program. The program is designed to prepare students to take a variety of positions in acute care organizations, clinics, long-term care, government and community health organizations. The program has been approved by the Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA) and meets the licensure requirements. Additionally, program is also a member of Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA).
