- The MSU-CVM Veterinary Medical Technology (VMT) Program will graduate students who will fill positions associated with food animal, equine and small animal practices; public health organizations; federal and state regulatory agencies; animal related industries; laboratory animal medicine; animal and biomedical research; zoo and wildlife practices and shelter practices.
- The mission of the VMT program is to provide the environment and resources for veterinary technology students to acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviors that will prepare students for a para-professional career as a veterinary technologist and to instill the desire for lifelong learning to enhance their careers.
