• The mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is to educate students in fundamental engineering principles, thus enabling the understanding of existing and next generation technologies relevant to research and engineering practice.

  • The philosophy used to establish the following criteria was that a Master's degree in ME implies that the graduate also has received prior undergraduate instruction in the design of energy systems and mechanical systems.
