What do radiology technologists do?
Radiology technologists explain procedures to patients, prepare and position patients for tests and perform those tests while following radiologic safety procedures. They also carefully monitor patients, develop film, and maintain and operate specialized equipment.
Studies start in the classroom
You’ll begin work on your Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Radiologic Technology by completing general education requirements and taking classes in mathematics, physics, anatomy and physiology, psychology, sociology, and other courses on the Minot State University campus.
Degree completed in clinical setting
Once you’ve completed the necessary on-campus work, you can apply for admission to a school of radiologic technology. There are five accredited schools in North Dakota, including Trinity Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Minot.
