• Resulting from a historically close relationship the Departments of Botany and Zoology consolidated into the Department of Biology in the fall semester of 2013. The Department offers a wide range of courses as well as the B.A. and B.S. in Biology, Botany, and Zoology. Additionally, the Department offers the M.S. and Ph.D. in Biology and in Botany and is one of the participating Departments in the interdepartmental graduate program in Cellular, Molecular, and Structural Biology (CMSB) and the graduate program in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology (EEEB).
