Academic Eligibility:
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university;
- Completion of the following behavioral science coursework:
- at least one course in psychology, sociology, or anthropology;
- at least one course in American history, American government, or economics;
- at least one course in human biology; and
- at least one course in statistics.
- GPA:
- A minimum of 2.75 is expected for the Traditional programs
- A minimum of 3.25 is expected for the Advanced Standing program
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in Social Work or Behavioral Science courses
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- No GRE required
- International students hailing from non-English speaking countries must submit proof of English proficiency. Students may provide score reports of TOEFL/IELTS/… or any equivalent test with at least a minimum score as per program guidelines to prove English proficiency.
- In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Miami is accepting the Duolingo English Test for the 2021-2022 application cycle as an alternative to the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE test. Miami’s Duolingo English Test scores must include the sub scores. If students took the test prior to July 15, 2019, they will need to retake the test.
