FIU’s    School of  Computing    &    Information Sciences provides endless opportunities to its students, offering a range of graduate-level degree programs, in a number of disciplines. The  MS  in Cybersecurity prepares students for the protection of data assets and sensitive information.  It features a curriculum focused on policy operations and technologies and defense techniques. Cybersecurity careers are among one the faster growing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), estimates cybersecurity positions will increase by  32%  through  2028.   According to a   September   2019   report,   the number of jobs in 2019 was 125,570 nationwide (6,630 in Florida)  with a 2019  median annual wage of  $99,730  nationwide ($91,580 in Florida).
