They monitor nearly every aspect of flights, working closely with other engineers and pilots to create, analyze and refine complex flight technology and ensure the flight safety.
Flight test engineers also do pre-flight and post-flight inspections as well as monitor operations such as air conditioning and oxygen safety controls.
