Messiah University’s Master of Occupational Therapy program will prepare students to be a competent, in-demand occupational therapist and a leader in their field. It is an accredited full-time, 80-credit, residential program located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, featuring a state-of-the-art educational facility designed to meet the needs of occupational therapy students.
Messiah University’s MOT program is designed to successfully prepare students for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) licensing exam and equip them to serve as occupational therapists in a variety of professional settings.

Academic Eligibility:

Completion or anticipated completion of a bachelor’s degree (must be completed prior to enrollment in the MOT) from a regionally accredited college or university
3.0 GPA or higher; C or better earned for prerequisite course work.
Official GRE Scores will not be required for the 21/22 admissions cycle.
Observation hours are encouraged, but will not be an admission requirement for the 21/22 admissions cycle.
All international applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by submitting official test scores from TOEFL or IELTS.
