• Politics majors with a political studies concentration engage a broad study of political science related to political institutions, processes, histories, cultures, and practices both in the United States and abroad. In the political studies concentration, students will explore how ideas and decisions have impacted the formation of countries and learn governmental processes for decision making. Politics faculty will encourage them to think independently, engage opposing points of view and develop an abiding concern for public life.
