The program consists of traditional business courses as accounting, economics, finance, law, management, and marketing along with many of the same core courses taken by Mercer?s engineering majors. Students in the program also take a number of psychology courses to further round out their knowledge of industrial management.
Elective courses taken by students in the program allow them to explore selected industrial management topics in depth along with topics in global awareness, humanities, and social science. Taken as a whole, this combination of courses uniquely prepares our graduates for challenging positions in any of the manufacturing and service industries. Employers are attracted to generalists who can add value to their bottom line in multiple ways.
