Through a combination of online and traditional classroom instruction, students will explore the theoretical foundations of the field while developing the administrative and management skills needed to become managers of private, commercial, and public recreation agencies.

The Department exists to promote a broader and deeper understanding of the role that leisure and recreation provides in the lives of all people as well as to enhance the quality of Recreation Leisure experiences available to each person.
