The Communication Arts major at Benedictine prepares you for this exploding industry. You gain experience in advertising, broadcasting, layout and design, writing and publishing over a variety of media. You develop knowledge and insight into each aspect of the media industry. The Candor student newspaper provides a learning experience for you in print media production. Students enrolled in COMM 255 (Television Production) and COMM 316 (Advanced Television Production) work at the "Eye of the Eagle" campus cable television news program as writers, anchors, editors and technicians. You can also follow in the footsteps of recent Benedictine students and intern at local CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox and PBS affiliates or at 95.9 FM "The River" and ESPN AM 1000.
