Many of our students complete an internship. These are opportunities with local companies whereby students utilize their accounting knowledge to gain practical experience. An internship can be very helpful in finding one?s first professional position. Students gain valuable experience in using accounting software utilized by prospective employers. They also can receive credit for life or work experience if they have had prior business or accounting opportunities.
Students choose from two specialized tracks for those planning on taking the CPA and CMA exams and are able to meet the 150-hour CPA requirement by completing a master?s degree in one of our graduate programs.
