The second graduate program is the Master of Science (M.S.) which is a research-based thesis degree.
The final degree option is the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Within the architectural engineering field, Ph.D. students can concentrate on building energy, lighting, electrical, acoustics, and structures.
There are several professional societies and student groups on campus including:
- Acoustical Society of America, University of Nebraska Student Branch
- Architectural Engineering Institute, University of Nebraska Student Branch
