We require all Anthropology majors to take a series of core classes beginning with the introductory sequence, which includes introductory courses in all four fields of anthropology. Majors also must complete at least one upper division course in each of the four subfields as listed below. Five additional requirements include four core courses and three semesters of a single foreign language:
