The program leading to the Master of Science degree with a major in information sciences requires 36 semester hours of graduate courses, including 3 courses required of all students. There are two non-thesis options, a comprehensive exam or an ePortfolio, or a thesis option with 6 hours required for the thesis option. At least 27 hours must be taken within the School of Information Sciences curriculum, and up to 9 hours outside of the school can be taken, including a maximum of 6 hours outside the college. No more than 6 hours may be taken from another university.
