The general emphasis concentration requires a minimum of 37 hours ? 13 hours in foundation coursework and 24 additional hours, selected with the guidance of the student's master's committee. A project is implemented during the second semester of practicum experience (CFS 565) and is evaluated by the student's master's committee for the non-thesis option written comprehensive examination.
