The selection of apartments is done in a group of four or six. The priority for the apartments is given based on a point system which factors the age, academic level and the semesters.

The university has around six 6-person apartments and four 4-person apartments for female students. Male students can reside in twelve 4-person apartments. The groups which have been shortlisted will get the mail, once they have assigned any apartments.

However, Traditional students must meet at least one of the following criteria to qualify for Northwest University off-campus housing:

• 23 years old or older on 1st day of fall semester;
• Married;

Off-campus residence options must be within the 35-mile drive to campus in order to receive approval.
