  • The Marshall Physics Master’s program has been designed to meet the needs of students who either want to have their advanced degree in Physics to either have further graduate study in physics, astronomy, or other fields or to pursue a career in industry, government or teaching.
  • A Master’s degree serves as a bridge to a Ph.D. program.
  • At the same time, graduates with an M.S. degree in Physics usually are hired into positions that require a high level of problem-solving or technical skills at federal agencies or private companies.
  • The program can be earned in either Thesis or Non-Thesis format.
