Hofstra University Admission Deadline

Hofstra University has a policy of rolling admission and international students can apply for both fall(September) and spring(January) admissions. The students should apply prior to the deadlines and early applications will receive the fullest consideration. USA Visa for International Students

For international applicants it is mandatory to have an F-1 visa to study in USA. To apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa, a separate I-20 or DS-2019 application must be completed and documentary proofs should be provided by students. Once Hofstra University accepts the application, the International Student Affairs office issues I-20 and DS-2019 forms. The forms must be used to apply for a student visa at a United States Embassy or Consulate.

After receiving I-20, or, to make a Visa appointment, payment of U.S. Department of Homeland Security SEVIS I-901 fee must be done. The documents required for F-1 or J-1 visa applications are:
