Informed by?cutting-edge, internationally recognized scholarship, our faculty teach classes that address a large spectrum of mathematical study and direct?award-winning student research.

The department offers undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Mathematics licensure, a masters in mathematics, and a doctoral degree in applied and computational mathematics through the College of Science and Technology's Computational Science degree program. Members are active in working with students in the Honors College. Many of our students have continued to graduate school here or elsewhere, and many now work in industry or academia.

At the masters level, the program is designed for students to develop a working background in?mathematics. Moreover, students interested in applied mathematics can build the foundation?to continue in a doctoral program in applied and computational mathematics.?
