Students in Pacific University?s economics program enjoy small class sizes that encourage active participation. They also develop strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, learn to collect and analyze data and hone their writing and speaking abilities.

Students also participate in a club that tours area businesses and attends presentations by leading economists. They may also study abroad for a semester or an entire year.

Many of our graduates go on to further study in economics, international and public affairs and business. They also work as insurance regulators, certified public accountants and business and government leaders, among other fields.
