Why Study Molecular & Integrative Biology at UND?

In the past, students focused on one very specific subset of biology, whether that was molecular biology, physiology of organisms or ecology. But the Molecular & Integrative Biology program at UND emphasizes the knowledge of many different biological organizations. Learn at the gene/molecular/cellular level, all the way up to the development and physiology of individual organisms, along with how they adapt to local environments. This training model has shown to have greater potential to contribute to educational success, medical advances, technological innovation and commercialization or knowledge.
