Students planning to pursue a graduate degree in economics should plan a program of study, in consultation with a departmental advisor, which includes course work in economic theory and additional course work in mathematics and statistics.

Students are responsible for completing the prerequisites for all economics courses and for fulfilling the general education requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences.

Students may not count ECON-E 309 for credit toward the economics major. Students interested in majoring in economics should consult with a member of the economics faculty for additional information.
