Students will study courses like Computer Architecture Principles, Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Networks, Distributed Operating System Principles, and Embedded Systems.
The program is available with a thesis and non-thesis options and both required 30 credits.
This program is offered by the College of Engineering.
As EDGE students, students view the same course lectures, complete the same assignments and exams as UF campus-based engineering students.
UF EDGE offers online master's degrees from seven of our gator engineering departments with multiple degree program tracks (emphasized areas of study) available in these seven majors.
Each master's degree program consists of 10 courses. Courses are offered on a semesterly basis, with various course offerings for the fall, spring, and summer terms.
Students can begin a degree program in any one of these three semesters and are free to take as many or as few courses as their work and life schedule permits each semester.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must hold a recognized baccalaureate, graduate, or professional degree from a regionally accredited US institution or a comparable degree from an international institution.
For applicants with a bachelor’s degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0) is required.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
Submission of GRE scores is required.

Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
