This program is recommended for students who intend to do graduate work in the classics. Students are required to complete additional course work in classical literature and develop facility in both Greek and Latin.

The program offers a challenging liberal arts education nurtured by faculty who have a strong academic pedigree and commitment to teaching. Students will be prepared for a number of professional fields, such as law or library science, graduate studies in the classics, or master's degree programs in teaching Latin for preparatory and high schools.
