The electrical engineering curriculum builds upon the physical, mathematical and electrical engineering sciences integrated with engineering tools of analysis and design to prepare an electrical engineer that can contribute to the needs of El Paso del Norte region and the nation. Students in the EE Program can specialize in thematic focus areas such as:
- Communications, Systems, and Signal Processing,
- Fields, Electronics and Devices,
- Computer Engineering,
- General Electrical Engineering.
New focus areas are being developed in Biomedical Engineering, and Electric Power and Energy.
