It will be the nexus of bridges among communication scholars and practitioners from the United States, Mexico, and communities who serve as borders for their nations.

It will be a place of continuing education for Hispanic journalists and other communication practitioners, as well as the source of educational opportunity for Latinos/as and any student interested in attending a university in a bilingual, bicultural setting.
It will be the place to enhance the educational aspirations of all students interested in bicultural/intercultural communication in mediated, societal, organizational, and interpersonal contexts.
