?People who can bridge the gap of being able to explain technology change to those who are not as technology knowledgeable are much sought after in the job market. To make CIS students even more marketable, these students are advised to take the additional courses needed to complete a Business and/or Communications minor, or possibly even a double major.

• The program helps students to build a strong foundation of computer information theory followed by technical skill development.

• Students gain an understanding of the role of information technology in businesses and other organizations and how to deploy information technology to increase efficiency, enhance effectiveness, and gain a competitive advantage.
