The program offered by the Metropolitan State University of Denver is a sophomore-entry program, which means it requires the completion of a separate application and a strict six-semester course sequence. Applications are due March 1 to be considered for the subsequent fall clinical cohort.

From the start of the Athletic Training program, you will be rotated through affiliated clinical athletic training sites throughout metropolitan Denver, giving you real-world experience with the city’s diverse population. Our faculty are involved at the national, district and state level of the profession and have a strong relationship with MSU Denver’s Intercollegiate Athletics Program, which will give you the opportunity to work with our Athletic Training staff.
